In the "Auto" mode the fan will automatically run faster
if a measured value is too high. That is, if TMP is higher
than TMP setpoint + hysteresis. Every 5 seconds the fan
runs a little faster until the "BOX max" value is reached.
When the measured values return to normal, the fan
automatically runs slower until the set minimum capacity
(BOX min) is reached.
To set the minimum capacity of the box/fan, select "BOX
min".

9.4 Idle speed
Temperature
If the measured temperature in the room is equal to the
set temperature, the fan runs at idle speed. This fan
speed lies in the exact middle of the set "BOX MIN"
speed and the set "BOX MAX" speed. If the temperature
deviates within the range of the set hysteresis, the fan
speed will adjust in proportion to the idle speed.
Example
The set "BOX MIN" is 40%.
The set "BOX MAX" is 90%.
The set temperature is 27 °C.
The set hysteresis is 2 °C.
In this case, the idle speed is 65 (90% - 40% = 50%
range, divided by 2 gives the distance to the exact
middle: 25%). The idle speed lies in the exact middle of
40% and 90%, therefore at 65% (90% minus 25%).
If the measured temperature is equal to the set
temperature of 27 °C, the fan runs at idle speed, so at
65%.
The temperature can fall or rise within the set hysteresis
range of -/+ 2 °C. The fan speed will then decrease or
increase by 12,5% per degree. After all, the range is 50%,
divided by a range of 4 (- 2 °C and + 2 °C). So if the
temperature drops by one degree to 26 °C, the fan
speed will decrease by 12,5% in proportion to the idle
speed, and therefore decrease to 52,5% (65% minus
12,5%).
If the measured value is 28 °C, the fan speed increases
by 12,5% in proportion to the idle speed. The fan speed
becomes 77,5%. If the measured value rises to 29 °C, the
speed increases again by 12,5% to the maximum fan
speed "BOX MAX".
