5.2 Powering the antenna with the set-top box or
digital TV (fig. 2)
• Connect the power inserter to the antenna input of the
set-top box or digital TV.
• Connect the coaxial cable from the antenna to the input
power inserter.
• Use the USB cable provided to connect the power inserter
to the USB port on your TV.
• Check the reception quality. If the reception quality is not
good, adjust the position or angle of the antenna.
5.3 Powering the antenna directly from the digital
TV using a coax adapter (fig. 3)
• Use a coax adapter (F-coupling – coax plug not included
in delivery; e.g. Hama 122487 adapter) to connect the
coaxial cable of the antenna directly to the TV.
• Ensure that the power supply for the antenna is activated
on the set-top box or digital TV.
Note
Powering the antenna directly from the set-top box or
digital TV requires a supply voltage of 5V.

5.4 Wall mounting

Use the screws and wall plugs provided to x the antenna
to the wall.
Note
• Before mounting, check that the wall you have chosen
is suitable for the weight to be mounted Also make
sure that there are no electric, water, gas or other
lines running through the wall at the mounting site.
• After the product has been mounted, check that it
is su ciently secure. You should repeat this check at
regular intervals.
5.5 Setting up the antenna on a table, cabinet or similar
Attach the provided stand to the rear of the antenna. Next,
place the antenna on an even surface such as a table or
entertainment stand. Check the reception quality. If the
reception quality is not good, adjust the position or angle
of the antenna.
6. Care and Maintenance
Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth
and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
