Commissioning


Supply the detector with 230 VAC (12...24V AC/DC for ESN..-LV)
 Wait (approx. 60s) the pre-heating phase in which the detector is not active and the LEDs are:
- Green LED ON
- Yellow LED ON
- Red LED OFF
 At the end of the pre-heating phase the detector is active in all functions and the LEDs are:
- Green LED ON
- Yellow LED OFF
- Red LED OFF
 Open the solenoid valve manually acting on its reset handle device.

Verification of operation

1. To verify correct operation of the detector it is necessary to simulate an alarm acting as follows:
- Bring a bottle of gas near to the detector without removing the cover, and let come out a small quantity of gas:
ATTENTION: don't spray the gas directly on the sensor, otherwise it will be damaged. Act to increase gradually
the gas concentration close to the sensitive element.
It can be used an appropriate test gas bottle or, alternatively, propane / butane mixture.
