attach the brackets and the washers and tighten carefully the nuts, but not too tight !
3.7. Maintenance of the surface of the fireplace
Do the next steps only when the fireplace is cold ! Wipe off regularly the dust from the fireplace. Wash the metallic
parts only with mild detergent, for example with dish-washing solution. If necessary, paint the surface of the fireplace,
using heat proof paint-up to 500 °C.
3.8. Removing the ashes and sweeping the chimney
During the burning, part of the ashes falls down through the fire-grate into the ash box. By turning the fire-grate back
and forth will help the ashes to fall dawn into the box.
Removing the ashes and sweeping of the furnace :
Before starting, switch of all air conditioners or fans and detach the protective rail from the furnace. Open the regulating
plate of the flue. Remove the ashes through the fire-grate, as mentioned above. After this remove the ash-box and
clear it up. Before starting the sweeping detach the flame guiding plates 1 and 2 from the furnace (fig. 4). Sweep the
furnace at least twice a year (4 times, if the fireplace is used all the time). Use for example steel brush. Attaching of the
parts - in reverse order.
Sweeping of the chimney :
Chimney is connected to the upper side, soot falls trough the connecting pipe into the fireplace. Before starting,
remember to remove the guidance plate from the furnace !
