CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

This trimmer has been designed so that it can be used in the shower for greater ease and
convenience.
To ensure long lasting performance clean after each use.
Ensure the appliance is switched off and unplugged from the mains.
The easiest and most hygienic way to clean the appliance is by rinsing the appliance
head under the tap after use while the blades are running.
Allow water to run into and through the wash out port to help wash any hair trimmings
from the inside out.
Place a few drops of cutter or sewing machine oil onto the blades. Wipe off excess oil.

REMOVING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

We strongly recommend that a professional removes the rechargeable battery. Parts of the
case, and tools have sharp edges and may cause injury if not handled correctly.
The rechargeable battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.
Disconnect the charging adapter before removing the battery.
1. Ensure that the battery is fully discharged. To do this, operate the device until it stops.
2. Use an appropriate tool to prise off the two black side covers.
3. Remove the four screws at either side of the case then separate the two halves of the
case.
4. Remove the screws that secure the motor assembly to the case. Lift out the complete
assembly.
5. Remove the two screws securing the top half of the motor assembly.
6. Prise open the three tabs then pry off the top half.
7. Pry out the part which has the printed circuit board attached.
8. The battery is located underneath the printed circuit board. The tabs at either end must
be unsoldered before the battery can be removed.
Used batteries must be removed from the appliance and disposed of at an appropriate
official recycling/collection point.
Do not attempt to operate the device once you have opened it.

To avoid environmental and health problems due to hazardous
substances, appliances and rechargeable and non-rechargeable
batteries marked with one of these symbols must not be disposed of
with unsorted municipal waste. Always dispose of electrical and
electronic products and, where applicable, rechargeable and
non-rechargeable batteries, at an appropriate official recycling/
collection point.
