6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Cut off the heater's gas supply.
2.
Allow the heater to cool completely down before cleaning or handling it.

Never attempt to clean the device during operation.

The heater should be checked annually by a qualified technician for safe operation and in
order to detect any faults.
5.
Do not use abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners to clean the product.
6.
Use a soft, dampened and clean cloth to clean the product's outer housing.
7.
If the heater is not going to be operated for a long period of time, store it in a dry and safe
place where it is protected from dust.
7. TROUBLE SHOOTING
The heater does not light:
•
Check the gas cylinder is full.
•
Check the regulator to make sure that it is properly attached and the cylinder valve is
turned on.
•
Check that the instructions have been followed correctly.
The heater does not light after the cylinder has been changed:
•
Air in the cylinder. Hold the control knob down for a longer period of time until the pilot
and main burner light. Turn to the 3-High position.
•
The cylinder might be excessively cold. Allow the cylinder to reach room temperature
before operating the heater.
The heater turns off by itself:
•
If it turns off after 30 minutes approx., it is being operated in a badly-ventilated area.
Open a window or a door to ventilate it and light it up again.
•
Do not move the heater while in operation. The tip-over switch might be turning it off for
safety reasons.
