It is therfore strongly recommended to make sure that this conditioning
period has passed before carrying out any checks on the activation
level.
NOTE: Short power failures have no effect.
The built-in siren are activted intermittently after a delay time of about 5
seconds from the switching on of the red led signalling that the threshold
has been exceeded, as mentioned above.
After another 20 seconds, the relay output is activated the (the 20s
delay allows the user to ventilate the room to prevent the solenoid valve
from triggering, in the case of a false alarm).
If the concentration of gas falls below the activation lavel, during this
time span, the signal is cancelled and the above-mentioned delay time is
reset. The gas detector is provided with a terminal board which is acces-
sible for connection into the circuit by removing the cover.
Terminals 1 and 2 are for the supply volatage - 230 Vac – while termi-
nals 3, 4 and 5 are the relay contacts – NO, C, NC -

INSTALLATION
Assembly
The detector is installed directly on the wall, with power supply cables
and/or controls carried by surface raceways, which lead to the stan-
dard round or three-component rectangular boxes onto which the detec-
tor can be easily fitted using the drilling hoses provided.
Fixing holes
In order to reach the fixing holes, the cover of the detector must be remo-
ved by using the point of a screwdriver in the appropriate slot in the
slide. In order to reach the terminals and one of the fixing holes, the ter-
minals' cover must be removed by undoing the fixing screws.
