3.5
Supply
Operate on the screws (horizontal and vertical) of
3.6
the transmitter and receiver (see Fig. 4).
3.7
For the actual alignment, use a tester placed at
5Vd.c., full scale, connecting it to the test points on
the receiver, and operate on the two adjusting
screws of the transmitter and receiver to improve
the alignment so as to obtain the maximum signal
on the tester (see Fig. 5)
(minimum valute to be obtained 0,3Vd.c.).
The Test Point values are indicated in the rollowing
table, in ratio to the distance TX-RX.
DISTANCE TX-RX
5 meters .......................0,6 ÷ 0,7 V
10 meters ...................... 0,5 ÷ 0,6 V
20 meters .......................0,4 ÷ 0,5 V
30 meters ...................... 0,3 ÷ 0,4 V
Incorrect alignment interferes with the proper
functioning of the photocell.
3.8
By interrupting the infrared beam, check the
normal response of the relays (switching) several
times. If all test are positive, the device is ready to
operate.
3.9
Fix protection cover and check the operation
again.
4 - TEST AND CHECKS
Check the absorption by the modules using a tester.
The values must be 25mA for the receiver, 30mA for
the transmitter.
Interrupt the infrared ray several times, checking the
response (exchange) of the relays.

5 - SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

All electrical installation works should conform to
regulations.
Remember to run separate mains (240V) carrying
cables (supply and motor).
Also all low voltage controls (push button, photocell,
radio etc.) cables should be run in separate ducts to
the mains to prevent from mains interference.
