Connecting the solenoid valve:
A screen (1) is located in this bore
to filter debris in the line and protect
the solenoid. Use needle nose pliers
or tweezers to remove and clean
as necessary.
Assemble the hose (2) from the spout to
the solenoid valve (3) and secure with
the clip (4). Make sure the slots (5) in the
hose line up with the top groove (6) on
the solenoid valve. Assemble the solenoid
valve on the nipple (7). Make sure the
slots (8) in the solenoid valve line up

with the top groove on the nipple (9). The
lower groove contains an O-ring that seals
on the inside of solenoid valve. Assemble
the retaining clip (10) through the slots in
the solenoid valve and through the upper
groove in the nipple.
Route the pullout hose (2) and solenoid
valve so it does not get tangled or caught
with other hoses or fixtures.
