PROBABLE CAUSES
Air inlet in the
suction
There is no water in the
pump.
Flaps closed, or hydraulic
circuit blocked.
There is no power supply
The pump is blocked
Dirty filter
Pump or skimmer pre-filters
obstructed.
Air inlet in the suction
Flaps closed, or hydraulic
circuit blocked.
The voltage is very low or
incorrect
Installation in full sunlight
Poor ventilation
Defective bearings

Blockage in the suction
Cavitations
Make sure that the water level at the
suction point is correct.
Re-tighten the clamps and the connections
at the pump suction.
Make sure the filter tank is full of water.
Open all the system laps, clean the skimmer
and pre-filter baskets check that the turbine is
not blocked.
Check that all the electrical contacts are open.
Make sure that the short circuits are correctly
installed. Check the electrical connections in
the motor electrical unit.
Pump without power supply, using a
screwdriver, make the axle turn. It should turn
freely
Clean the sand (backwash) or clean the filter.
Clean pre-filter baskets.
Make sure the water level at the suction point
is correct. Re-tighten the clamps and
connections at the suction side of the pump.
The power supply should be corrected by an
electrician.
Normally the pump gets hot, but it can be
touched. The thermal protection is activated
by means stopping the pump if it gets
excessively hot.
Protect from sunlight
Do not cover or encase the motor
A technician should replace the bearings
Make sure that the water level at the suction
point is correct. Re-tighten the clamps and the
connections at the pump suction.
Locate and remove the blockage
Improve suction, reduce the height of the
water column at the suction point, reduce the
amount of connections, and increase the tube
diameter.
