Dear Customer,
You have just purchases MyGluco Dongle BW-DGM1 from
BewellConnect®. In order to use it optimally and efficiently, we
recommend that you read there operating instructions carefully.
INTENDED USE
The MyGluco Dongle BW-DGM1 Glucometer is intended for use in
the quantitative measurement of glucose in fresh capillary whole
blood samples from the finger and the following alternative sites:
the palm, the forearm, the upper-arm. It is intended for use at
home by people with diabetes mellitus as an aid in monitoring the
effectiveness of a diabetes control program.
It is not intended for the diagnosis of or screening for diabetes
mellitus, or neonatal use.
The alternative site testing (AST) in the MyGluco Dongle BW-DGM1
Glucometer can be used only during steady-state blood glucose
conditions.
TEST PRINCIPLE
The MyGluco Dongle Glucometer allows you to test blood glucose
levels in whole blood.
The glucose testing is based on the measurement of electrical
current generated by the reaction of glucose with the reagent
of the strip. The glucometer measures the current, calculates the
blood glucose level, and displays the result. The strength of the
current produced by the reaction depends on the amount of
glucose in the blood sample.
This system uses enzyme of Glucose Dehydrogenase (GDH) from
E. coli.
