Information about these operating instructions
Welcome to OASE Living Water. You made a good choice with the purchase of the product Trafo UST 150/01.
Prior to commissioning the unit, please read the instructions of use carefully and fully familiarise yourself with the unit.
Ensure that all work with this unit is only carried out in accordance with these instructions.
Adhere to the safety information for the correct and safe use of the unit.
Keep these instructions in a safe place! Please also hand over the instructions when passing the unit on to a new
owner.

Intended use

Trafo UST 150/01 , in the following termed "unit", is designed for the use of 12 V low voltage LED lamps and halogen
lamps (OASE spotlights Lunaqua 10, Lunaqua 10 LED and Profilux LED).
Use other than that intended
Danger to persons can emanate from this unit if it is not used in accordance with the intended use and in the case of
misuse. If used for purposes other than that intended, our warranty and operating permit will become null and void.
Safety information
− Check that the power supply values on the unit type plate coincides with those of your mains connec-
tion.
− Only connect the unit to a grounded power supply with fault current protection switch meeting local or
national regulations (e.g. NEC, UL, CSA, IEC). If in doubt, please contact an authorized electrician.
− Do not use additional components, extension, connection or adapter cables that are not grounded.
− Never operate the unit when persons are in the water!
− Ensure that the installations in and at the pond meet local and national installation regulations. If in
doubt, please contact an authorized electrician.
− Disconnect the mains voltage at all poles prior to commencing any work at the unit.
− Never carry or pull the unit by its connection cable.
− Keep open cable ends, contacts, plugs or connection points dry.
− Do not operate the unit if the cable or housing are damaged.
− Route the cables such that they are protected from possible damage.
− Never open the unit, unless this process is described in these instructions for use. The manufacturer
alone is permitted to repair the unit or replace cables.
ATTENTION This unit is intended for operation in the garden. Do not use the unit in swimming pools, jacuzzies, whirl
pools, etc.
Correct electrical installation
− Oase units must be correctly grounded and fused via a fault current protection switch (fault current <
30 mA). Depending on the connection values, you can operate the unit at a single-phase 230 Volt
power supply or a three phase 230 Volt power supply.
− Ask your local electricity provider for your electrical connection values or prerequisites for electrical
installations.
− If the connection cable is too short, we recommend to ask an authorized electrician to install a connec-
tion point within the reach of the connection cable or a UL approved cable extension .
− Avoid excessive bending or chafing of cables.
− Any change to the unit means the non-observance of the UL approval or its regulations. In this case,
any guarantee or warranty becomes null and void.
WARNING
Risk of electrocution! The unit is equipped with a ground cable or an additional plug for grounding
purposes. To reduce the risk of electrocution, ensure that the unit is connected to a connection point
grounded in accordance with the regulations and provided for this purpose.
What to do
− Disconnect all units in the pond from all poles of the power supply prior to commencing work at the
unit.

− If early signs of a problem are encountered, disconnect the unit from the power supply at all poles.
