GENERAl SAfEty
The following safety precautions must
be followed at all times:
1. Read all manuals included
with this product
carefully. Be thoroughly
familiar with the controls
and the proper use of the
equipment.
2. Only persons well acquainted with
these rules of safe operation should

3. Keep work area clean. Sharp
objects, chemical spills, oil, solvents
and wet floors will damage hoses as
well as create shock hazards.
4. Never store flammable
liquids or gases in work
area.
5. Keep other people at a safe distance
from work area.
6. Always wear safety glasses.
7. Wiring and electric
motors must be properly
grounded. Improperly
grounded motors are
shock hazards. Wiring
and fuses must be sized to comply
with local electrical codes and to
meet proper current capacity.
Wiring must be installed by an
electrician.
8. Examine hoses, plugs and wires for
signs of damage or wear. Replace all
deficient parts before beginning.
9. Disconnect power and depressurize
before beginning maintenance or
repairs.

Operation
nOte: See Figure 5 for examples of the
assembly for the drain cleaner with and
without the extension tube and
splashback shield.
HoW yoUR DRAIN ClEANER WoRKS:
Compressed air travels through your
drain cleaner and sharply impacts the
stoppage in your drain, forcing the
obstruction to break loose. About 98%
of the pressure impacts the obstruction.
Only 2% works on side walls and joints.
This makes your drain cleaner safe for
any drain in good condition.
nOte: The drain cleaner uses a sharp
impact rather than continuous pressure
to clear the stoppage because
continuous pressure exerts as much
pressure to the sides and joints as to
the obstruction. Continuous pressure
could burst a plugged drain without
vents.
1. Remove sink drain basket and/or
stopper (see Figure 1). Turn drain
shutoff (if any) to 'Open' position.
