Application and function
The VPPM-...C1 is intended for regulating pressure proportionally to a specified
setpoint value. A built-in pressure sensor records the pressure at the working line
and compares this value with the setpoint value. If the actual value differs from the
setpoint value, the regulating valve is actuated until the outlet pressure reaches
the setpoint value.

Requirements for product use
Warning
Depending on the functions of the machine/system, the manipulation of signal
statuses can cause serious injury to people or material damage.
• Note that changing the switching characteristics of the switching outputs in
the EDIT mode is effective immediately.
• Activate the password protection (security code) (è Chapter 6 under EDIT
mode).
• The product may only be used in its original status without unauthorised modi­
fications.
• Only use the product if it is in an excellent technical status.
• Comply with all applicable national and international regulations.
• Comply with specified limits (è Chapter 13).
