Before installing the equipment, it is essential to read and
fully understand the information given in this operating
and maintenance guide.
It is also essential to read and fully understand each and
every one of the instructions given in the instruction
manual, particularly those which refer to safety measures
and warnings, with the aim of preventing the occurrence
of accidents of any kind.
Do not exceed 7 bar/102 PSI in the air inlet pressure.
Higher pressures might damage the pump or cause you
injury. We recommend the use of an air filter on the general
air line.
In most applications, it is not necessary to lubricate the
pump, except the O rings which should be lubricated
during repair work.
When it is necessary to lubricate the air, do this with SAE
10 without detergent and adjust the air lubricator to no
more than one drop per minute.
Follow each and every one of the steps described in the
different sections, in the order in which they are given.
Before starting up the equipment, proceed according to
the points given below, in the order in which they are
indicated (if all the specified steps are followed on shutting
down the equipment, it will be in the status referred to
below):
1
Connect the unit to ground correctly, as explained in
the "grounding" section.
2
Place the air inlet pressure regulator in the minimum
position (anticlockwise).
3
Check that all the product circuit connections for
looseness.
Start-up
1
Connect the suction pipe to the pump (lock firmly).
Place the absorption probe in the product to be
pumped.
At the end of the day' s work it is necessary to clean the
equipment and accessories in preparation for further use.

CLEANING THE EQUIPMENT
1
1 . Clean the equipment to eliminate any oil remaining
within the product area (used to protect parts after
in-factory tests), as explained in the section "cleaning
the equipment" .
2
Prepare the item to be sprayed. Check the chemical
compatibility of the product with the different parts
of the equipment. Follow each and every one of the
manufacturer's instructions.
3
The product outlet flow not only depends upon the
air pressure but on the amount of product at the
product inlet and its viscosity.
The product hose shall be the appropriate one for the
4
product to be pumped.
Place a stop cock and pressure regulator at the air inlet
5
to the pump.
6
Place a stop cock at the product outlet to interrupt
t h e f l ow s h o u l d t h i s b e n e ce s s a r y.
2
Check that the product outlet hose is inside the
container and that it is connected correctly to the
pump.
3
Connect the pump to the air supply network via a
pressure regulator and an air inlet ball stop cock. Check
that this regulator and the stop cock are closed initially.
Open the air inlet stop cock.
4
5
Open the air regulator little by little until the pump
begins to move.
6
Increase the air pressure until the product is suctioned.
Once the product begins to come out of its
corresponding hose, select the correct working
pressure.
The working life of the equipment depends on the
effectiveness of this cleaning process.
