Lens adjustments

Position
To adjust the position of the lens, follow these steps:
1. Open the Live View page in your
web browser.
2. Using the supplied allen key, loosen
the 2 locking screws, as shown here.
3. Insert the allen key into the small
hole in the lens casing.
4. While checking the image in the
Live View page, move the lens to
the desired position.
5. When the camera shows the
required view, gently retighten the
locking screws (torque < 0.4 Nm).
Focus
The focus of the AXIS 209FD/FD-R/
MFD is set at the factory from 0.5m to
infinity. It does not normally need
adjustment.
To focus on objects closer than 0.5m, or
if for some reason the lens has lost
focus, this can be adjusted by loosening
the focus lock screw. Use the image in
the Live View page to adjust the focus.
