Using Extra Large (XL) SureCut
An Extra Large (XL) is twice as long as a Tiny, Small or Large Die and requires
two cuts.
1. Raise the handle all the way up.
2. Place the material to be cut against the rubber side of the die and place
rubber side down on the Cutting Pad.
3. For XL dies, slide the Cutting Pad to position the material and die so that the
edge of the die is flush with the back of the Pressure Plate (Figure C).
4. Lower the handle one time to cut through the material.
5. Raise the handle to slide the Cutting Pad through the machine so the
exposed end of the die is now flush with the front end of the Pressure Plate
and cut again (Figure D).
6. With some intricate shapes, it may be necessary to cut a third time in the
middle of the die. Center die in machine and lower the handle to cut again
(Figure E).
7. Keep a firm grip when raising or lowering the handle.
8. Slide the Cutting Pad out from under the Pressure Plate and remove the die
and perfectly cut shapes, letters and numbers.
