GENERAL
Use the Easyflext EZO series minia-
ture overhead microphones for choirs
and performance groups in recording or
sound reinforcement applications. These
electret condenser microphones have a
wide frequency range and high sensitiv-
ity. Designed for overhead suspension
from a ceiling or other fixture, the at-
tached wireform allows them to be easily
aimed at the sound source.

GENERAL INSTALLATION
GUIDELINES (FIGURE 1)
1. Aim the microphone towards the
desired sound source, such as the
performance group or choir and
away from any unwanted sound
source, such as a loudspeaker.
This can be done by rotating the
wireform around the microphone's
cartridge in the opposite direction
of the desired source.

2. Place the tip of the microphone
bewteen 0.6m and 1m (approxi-
mately 2 to 3 feet) from the sound
source. Microphones should be 3
times as far from each other as
they are from the sound source.
3. When neccessary, use the sup-
plied windscreen to control breath
noise.
4. If four or more microphones will
be open at the same time, use of
an automatic mixer, such as the
Shure SCM810 or FP410, is rec-
ommended.

MICROPHONE PLACEMENT
PREAMPLIFIER INSTALLATION
(FIGURE 2)
Use the two supplied mounting
clamps to hold the preamplifier in place
on a wall or ceiling. Set the length of the
cable by cutting it appropriately and us-
ing the screw terminal connections in-
side the preamplifier. The terminals are
marked B (black), R (red), and S
(shield).
