2. Description of functions

The pewag levo clamp LC is a lifting device with an electronic
locking device, a tension spring and a lever. Once the pewag
levo clamp LC has been closed, the safety mechanism
provides constant pre-tensioning of the cam on the lifted steel
plate, thereby ensuring that the pewag levo clamp LC does
not slip when lifting force is applied. The closing and opening
procedure can be done on the button on the pewag levo clamp
LC itself or via radio control. The system is attached to a crane
hook in a suitable size using the attachment mechanism. The
load to be lifted is attached to the pewag levo clamp LC.
The product is designed in such a way that the unintentional
opening of the pewag levo clamp LC when under load is
prevented (starting from loads of 300 kg [661 lbs] pewag levo
clamp LC will fail to open for safety reasons). The device is
powered by a rechargeable, replaceable lithium-ion battery.
