Safety, precautions and warnings

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. To avoid the risk of accidents and damage
to the appliance, please read these instructions carefully before using it for the first time. They
contain important notes on installation, safety, use and maintenance.
• Grillbot is designed and intended for use in domestic households. The manufacturer/
distributor will accept no liability for any injury or damage caused by commercial usage.
• Grillbot is only intended for grill cleaning. All other usage is prohibited and can be dangerous.
The manufacturer/distributor will accept no liability for any injury or damage caused by
incorrect usage of the unit. Please also be aware that eventual tear marks on the grill is to be
expected.
• To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not put any part of the appliance in water or other
liquid. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
• Grillbot is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised whilst
using it, or have been shown how to use it correctly by a person responsible for their safety.
• Do not incinerate the appliance even if it is severely damaged. Never use Grillbot if it is
damaged. Contact the store where it was purchased.
• Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to recharge. Do not substitute power
cords or adaptors. Only recharge Grillbot with AC recharge adaptors provided by the
manufacturer.
• Do not handle charger, including charger plug, and charger terminals with wet hands.
• Do not store near open flame or expose to the elements.
• Keep away from children and animals. Your grillbot is a tool, NOT a toy.
• Store indoors.
• Do not charge the unit outdoors
• Before use remove all packing material. Be sure to keep the packing material away from
children. Risk of injury!
• To Reduce The Risk Of Electric Shock – Do not expose to rain or snow directly.
• The batteries can explode in a fire.
• Grillbot's plastic cover and bottom can be scratched during usage. This has no effect on the
robot's function.
• Grillbot does not tolerate moisture! If Grillbot is kept in a humid environment or exposed to
cold weather the electronics and battery can be damaged.
• Always close grill cover when using your Grillbot. If the lid is not closed Grillbot can drive
across the edge and fall to the ground.
• Let the grill cool down before placing Grillbot on the grill. The grill temperature must be
below 95 °C degrees once Grillbot is placed on the grill.
Declaration of Conformity. The product complies with European Union (EU).
Electrical and electronic appliances often contain materials which, if handled or disposed of incorrectly,
could be potentially hazardous to human health and to the environment.
They are, however, essential for the correct functioning of your appliance. Please do not therefore dispose
of it with your household waste. Please dispose of it at your local community waste collection /
recycling centre or contact your dealer for advice. Ensure that it presents no danger to children while
being stored for disposal.
The transport and protective packing has been selected from materials which are environmentally friendly
for disposal, and should be recycled. Ensure that any plastic wrappings, bags, etc. are disposed of safely
and kept out of the reach of babies and young children. Danger of suffocation.
