9.1.1 The storing places should be dry and
clean.
9.1.2 Carry out maintenance according to the
table below:

9.2 Preparation before Storage
Carry out the following procedures for long-time
storage.
9.2.1 Loosen the drain bolt on carburetor and
drain fuel inside it.
WARNING Gasoline is highly flammable
and explosive. Carry out the operation in
well-ventilated place with the unit stopped.
Smoking, open flames, and sparks are
prohibited in the operation area.
9.2.2 Replace engine oil.

Remove the spark plug

9.2.3 Remove the spark plug and pour into
the cylinder a spoon of engine oil, pull the
recoil start slowly to distribute the oil evenly.
9.2.4 Pull up the recoil start handle slowly
until an anti-action is felt, keep pulling until
over passing the resistance. At this position,
the inlet and outlet valves of the engine are
closed so as to prevent the rust into the
crankcase.

10. TROUBLESHOOTING

10.1 Failure to Start the Engine: the
generator cannot be started.
10.1.1 Check if the ignition switch is at ON
position. (Fig. 22)
10.1.2 Check if the engine oil level is too low.
10.1.3 Check the fuel inside the tank.
10.1.4 Remove the spark plug, check if there
is spark jumping out.
10.1.5 If the generator set still can not be
started after the above steps, consult your
dealer for help.
10.2 Failure to Generate Power: the unit
doesn't generate electricity when the engine
is running.
10.2.2 Check if the AC breaker is at ON
position.
10.2.3 If the problem still exists after the
above steps, consult your dealer for help.
