2-Temperature Trigger Feed
Glue Gun
Some materials may be damaged by
the hot nozzle or even the hot adhesive of
High Temperature or General Purpose
Glue Guns. The Thermogrip
Temperature Glue Gun exands your
choices of materials and applications by
allowing low temperature operation for
more sensitive materials and high
temperature operation for general
purpose use. To be sure which
temperature setting and adhesive is best
for your application, test the adhesive on
a piece of scrap material before use. You
can change temperatures by sliding the
switch, located in the rear of the handle,
from "High" to "Low". See Figure 4.

igh Temperature Operation
When the switch is in the "High" (up)
position the Glue Gun operates at the
High Temperature. This is the same
temperature (380° F) as a General
Purpose hot melt glue gun. You can use
round General Purpose hot melt adhesive
or the specially formulated Thermogrip®

round 2-Temperature Adhesive at the
High setting. Both types of adhesive
have superior adhesion on wood, metal,
leather, paper or cardboard when used at
the High Setting.
Low Temperature Operation
For more sensitive materials, or in
applications where high bond strength is
not required, the 2-Temperature Glue Gun
can be used in the low temperature
setting. By moving the switch from
"High" to "Low" (down) the glue gun will
operate at lower temperature. Low
temperature (under 160° F) operation is
particularly suited for use on
STYROFOAM brand plastic foam*,
balloons, and fabrics.
NOTE: Allow several minutes for the
glue gun to cool when changing from
High to Low Temperature. Cool down time
can be reduced by runing 1 or 2 sticks of
adhesive through the glue gun. For best
results when using the glue gun at low
temperature, use only Thermogrip®
round 2-Temperature Adhesive. Other hot
melt adhesives may not melt or flow

Switch
