4 Hold the bottom of the TTC to support it and use the 5/32" (larger) Allen wrench to remove the
four screws beneath the snap covers.

Using the DVD recorder

WARNING:
Caution:
Note: As of July 2012, the DVD recorder is not supported with the V-Universal stand.
The S Series ultrasound system supports the DVD recorder.
For specific information on using the DVD recorder, including warnings and cautions, see the
manufacturer's operating instructions.
To configure the system for the DVD recorder, see the ultrasound system user guide. You configure
the system on the Connectivity setup page.
To connect the DVD recorder, see the V-Universal Stand assembly instructions.
To record images
Note: Test the recorder before a patient exam to ensure that all connectivity is correct.
1 Turn on the DVD recorder.
2 Insert a recordable DVD.
3 Use controls on the DVD recorder to start and stop recording.
Each time you record, a new file saves to the DVD.
To play back images
1 On the ultrasound system, hold down the touchpad key, and press the lower-right control key.
2 Press PLAY on the DVD recorder.

To avoid the risk of electrical shock or injury, do not connect more than one
peripheral at a time.
To avoid damaging the system, use only peripherals recommended by SonoSite
with the ultrasound system.
