 INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Removing the stock cooler
1. Unplug the stock cooler fan connector
2. Undo all screws/plugs keeping the original cooler and remove it
Installing the Akasa VGA cooler
1. Clean the surface of RAM and the VGA chipset.
Note: Use Isopropyl or Akasa Timclean to remove thermal grease residue.
. Remove the protective liner from one side of the pre-cut thermal
pads (part E) and apply them to the RAM chips surface. Remove
the protective film from the other side of the pads.
Note: Thermo-conductive pads are not design to attach the cooler to the
VGA card but to transfer heat from RAM to the heatsink and have
very limited adhesiveness.
3. Apply the proper amount of
thermal compound (part C) on
the GPU surface; a thin layer is
ideal, extra thermal compound
will not improve performance.
4. Place the rubber pads (part A)
over each of the four mounting
screws of the VORTEXX NEO
cooler.
