Place the headset on your head and adjust
the headband for a comfortable fit. The
extra-large earpads and deep earcups allow
Vengeance 2100 to fit comfortably so you
can play for hours without fatigue.
As with any PC audio product, it's best to reduce
the volume before trying it with an audio source
the first time.
You can reduce the volume with:
• The volume controller on the headset
(roll it down to reduce the volume and
up to increase)
• The standard Windows audio controller
• The volume controller in the
Vengeance 2100 Application Software
Once you're playing an audio source, you can
turn up the volume to a comfortable level.
To use the microphone, slide it down and adjust
it so that it's between 1–2 inches (2.5cm to 5cm)
away from your mouth.

The Vengeance 2100 wireless headset battery
has no "memory e ect", so you don't have to
completely discharge it before recharging. The
Lithium-ion battery in the Vengeance 2100 will
last for hundreds of charge/discharge cycles.
Remember that the USB charging cable requires
a high power (500mA) USB port. Many USB
ports found on keyboards and monitors do not
support high-power devices. If the battery life
indicator on the headset does not turn amber
or green when the USB charging cable is
connected, try another USB port on your PC.

GENERAL TIPS

For optimal wireless performance:
• Place the wireless adapter in an open,
unobstructed area. An extension cable is included.
• The wireless adapter requires a powered USB port (100mA).
For optimal battery life:
• Make sure the battery is fully charged before initial use.
• Do not leave the battery fully discharged for long periods.
Battery life is maximized by keeping the battery in a partially
charged state.
• Remove the USB charging cable promptly after the headset
has been fully charged.
• Keep the headset at room temperature
(20-30˚C or 68-86˚F).
For the best audio performance:
• Download the Vengeance 2100 Audio Software
from www.corsair.com/vengeance2100
• Don't be afraid to use the software equalizer to adjust the
audio quality to your liking. We've provided EQ presets
for popular gaming and media types.
• By default, the software places the Vengeance 2100 in
"Bypass" mode, which generates stereo sound, even with
multi-channel sources. To enable multi-channel audio,
click the "Bypass" icon.
Prolonged listening at high volumes may adversely a ect your
hearing. Take breaks between sessions and always begin with
the volume at the lowest possible level before increasing.
