Booting your Raspberry Pi

1.
Connect your hardware and VM205 module to the Raspberry Pi, see pag 6 for the quick start guide.
On fi rst boot you will come to the raspi-confi g window

Change settings such as timezone and locale if you want

Finally, select the second choice: expand_rootfs and say 'yes' to a reboot

The Raspberry Pi will reboot and you will see raspberrypi login:

You will be asked for your password

You will then see the prompt:pi@raspberry ~ $

From the command line type:

before blacklist spi-bcm2708, so it looks like this #blacklist spi-bcm2708

Once you're done, do following steps
• CTRL+O (save)
• ENTER (confi rm)
• CTRL+X (exit)
• sudo shutdown -r now

Start the desktop by typing:

You will fi nd yourself in a familiar desktop environment.
sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/raspi-blacklist.conf
startx
