An address is assigned to the device using the first three
configurators.
The other configurators will define the operating modes.
In details:
Conf. A1 - A2 - A3 - Modbus Address
The Modbus address is defined by configuring the first three positions.
Each of them may be "no configurator"=0, 1 to 9.
With the MODBUS protocol, the value of the address (in decimal
format), is obtained as follows:
Conf.A1x100 + Conf.A2x10 + Conf.A3
Example:
Conf.A1=2, Conf.A2=3, Conf.A3="no configurator":
the address value is 230.

RT= C haracteristic cable impedance (e.g. 120 Ω
for Belden cable 9842).
The termination resistances must only be
connected to the first and last RS -485 nodes,
between the + and - terminals. All "SG"
terminals must be connected to each other.
Also, connect the screen to the earth in one
point for each line only, ensuring that screen
continuity is maintained across the whole line.
It is recommended that a shielded communication
cable is used to connect item 288 12 to the DMX
switch (Belden 9842 or equivalent).
