Regulatory Compliance
The Tuthill SP100 1/2" Air Operated Diaphragm Pump has been tested and complies to the rigid standards for certification by the following regulatory
agencies.*
Polypropylene (non-conductive) models comply with European standards:

2006/42/EC – Machinery
●
BS EN ISO 12100:2010, Safety of machinery – General principles for design – Risk assessment and risk reduction
●
BS EN 809:1998 – Pumps and pump units for liquids – Common safety requirements.
Models for use in ATmosphere EXplosive (ATEX) that comply with European standards:

94/9/EC - (until April 19th, 2016) and 2014/34/EU (after April 20th, 2016) - Directive on equipment intended for use in potentially
explosive environments.

EN 13463 - 1 - Non-electrical equipment for use in potentially explosive atmospheres: Part 1: Basic method and requirement.
●
EN 13463 - 5 - Non-electrical equipment for use in potentially explosive atmospheres: Part 5: Protection by constructional safety "c".
