Adjusting the headrest

• The headrest of the SAFE TWO is height adjustable to suit the child's growth.
• Press the upper button and pull to adjust the height of the headrest (fig.1).
NOTE: make sure the headrest is not left between two positions.
Installing the Safe Two in the vehicle
• Place the Safe Two on the seat of the vehicle, making sure that it is pressed firmly against
the backrest of the vehicle seat (fig.2).
• Seat the child in the Safe Two (fig.3).
• Fasten the seat belt. The abdominal part of the belt should go under the armrests, and over
the child's legs (fig.4).
• The diagonal part of the vehicle seat belt on the side with the buckle, should go under the
armrest on the buckle side (fig.5).
• Pass the diagonal part through one of the red coloured belt guides, on the opposite side to
the seat belt buckle, found on the headrest (fig.6).
• Adjust the height of the headrest, so it fits the child correctly.
• Tighten the seat belt, without squashing the child, making sure that no section of the belt is
twisted.
• To release the child, simply unfasten the seat belt.
Removing the upholstery
• The upholstery of the Safe Two can be taken off for washing. Follow the washing instructions
printed on the care label sewn onto the upholstery.
• Separate the backrest from the seat. With one hand hold the seat, while pressing the
backrest with the other hand.
• Unfasten the 8 clips that fasten the upholstery on the backrest, and the 4 on the headrest.
Then unfasten the remaining 4 clips that fasten the upholstery to the seat of the Safe
Two.
• Take care when removing the upholstery. Follow the instructions in reverse to fit each of the
parts back on again.
WARNING: Never use the SAFE TWO without the backrest as it has been approved with all
the parts in place. Using it without the backrest will affect the child's safety.
