Store your HEROS fire helmet in a dark, dry
place (e.g. wall cupboard etc.) whenever
possible to prevent premature ageing.
1.3 Only trained personnel may inspect or
repair HEROS fire helmets. Records must be
kept for each helmet observing the provisions
of DIN 31 051.
1.4 Before and if possible after use inspect
the helmet shell for any surface damage
caused by impact. If the shell, lining, chin
strap or other parts are worn or damaged,
they must be replaced immediately otherwise
the helmet cannot provide full protection.
Only use original spare parts for maintenance
of the HEROS fire helmet.
Do not paint the shell or apply stickers to the
helmet that have not been approved by us
without our prior permission because the
material properties could be affected.
1.5 When using in a potentially explosive
atmosphere, spray the breathing mask and
helmet with antistatic agent (Art. No.
401228) or a film of water.
1.6 The user of the HEROS fire helmet is
solely responsible and liable for observing the
above instructions with the exception of the
maintenance and repair work carried out by
ROSENBAUER.
1.7 If you fail to observe any of the
instructions given under 1.1 to 1.5 above,
ROSENBAUER cannot guarantee that the
HEROS fire helmet will function properly.
This advice does not extend ROSENBAUER's
warranty or liability in any way.
