Cutting Disc Replacement
• Replace damaged or dull discs before operating the saw.
• Turn OFF and disconnect the saw.
• Remove the table insert (see page 8).
• Lift the disc all the way up and secure it with a scrap of wood
making contact with one of the disc teeth (A).
• Set the disc wrench (B) into the disc nut and the axis wrench (C):
pull the disc wrench towards you. Remove the axis nut, the axis
chuck and the saw disc.
• Set the new disk onto the axis drawbar, double checking you put
the teeth tips downwards and facing the saw front. Set back the axis
washer against the disc and the axis nut.
• Secure the disc with the scrap of wood making contact with one of
the disc teeth in the rear side.
• Tighten firmly the axis nut. Remove the wrenches and set back the table insert.
Lifting Mechanism
• In the event the flywheel is loose one quarter of a turn or more
before changing the position of the disc, it shall be adjusted.
• Loosen the nut D a few turns.
• Tighten the nut E against the washers. Turn back the nut E 1/6 of
a turn.
• Hold the nut E and tighten nut D against nut E.
Actuator Stem Tension
• When the cutting angle blocking knob is loosened, the motor may
slowly turn downwards due to its own weight and can tilt the saw disc.
However, if the motor falls suddenly when the knob is loosened, it is
because the actuator stem mounting tapes are too loose, making it very
dangerous.
• Tighten firmly the 6 screws outlined in image C to solve the problem.
• If, after tightening the screws, the problem is not solved, take the saw to
a
before operating it again.
Cleaning and Lubrication
• We recommend cleaning the inside of the saw every 5
hours use or when the height control and disc angle
mechanisms are not operating smoothly.
• Turn OFF and disconnect the saw.
• Remove it from its base and turn it around.
• Using a stiff brush and a vacuum cleaner, remove all the
dust. Pay special attention to the mechanisms and in the air
inlet of the motor.
• Apply dry graphite lubricant or silicon in the mechanisms.
CAUTION
Do not use oil or grease. These
accumulate sawdust and would obstruct the mechanism
functions.
• The motor bearings are factory sealed and lubricated not
requiring additional lubrication.
Service

brushes move freely in the carbon brush housing. Also ask
to turn on the tool 5 minutes to make the contact of the
carbon brushes and the commuter even.
• Use only
brushes specifically designed with the strength and electric
resistance fit for every type of motor. Carbon brushes that
