Troubleshooting
Problem
Poor quality cut
Power loss or sudden stopping of the engine
Possible cause
The grass is too high or too thick
Vegetation is wrapped around the Cutting Head Assembly (25)
No fuel in the tank
Dirty/blocked fuel filter
Dirty/blocked air filter
Excessive carbon deposits within the engine, cylinder or
Exhaust (20)

Solution
Focus on less concentrated patches of grass, and progress slowly
Switch off the machine, wait for the Cutting Head Assembly to stop
rotating, and remove entangled vegetation
Refill Fuel Tank (21). See 'Filling with fuel'
Clean the fuel filter and remove blockage, see 'Fuel filter
maintenance'
Clean the air filter and remove blockage, see 'Air filter maintenance'
