2. Unit description

The INGECON SUN STORAGE1Play TL M hybrid inverter allows combining photovoltaic generation with energy
storage without additional photovoltaic inverters.
This inverter has a double monitoring system for the maximum power point (MPPT), allowing to extract the
maximum power from the PV array, even in installations on roofs with different directions or partial shade.
Thanks to the Energy Management System (EMS) included, the installation can be monitored at all times via PC or
cell phone with the free INGECON SUN Monitor application.
In addition, it is capable of working in off-grid mode or connected to the grid in the following types of installation.
Stand-alone installations
System disconnected from the distribution grid that provides AC power to a set of consumers.
This type of installation allows installing an auxiliary generator, which can be started up through a voltage-free
output to charge the batteries.
UPS installations
System connected to the distribution grid that is used as back-up in the event of a power cut. In this case the
installation works as an Off-line type UPS.
Self consumption installations
System connected to the distribution grid that seeks to minimize grid consumption and increase self-supply.
If energy production is greater than demand, the excess can be used to charge the batteries and to inject into
the grid. It also includes the Battery-Backup function, which allows the inverter to power critical loads from the
batteries and photovoltaic panels in the event of a power cut.
