ELKAY LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY
POINT OF USE WATER COOLERS
FIRST YEAR – Elkay warrants the product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for
one (1) year from date of consumer purchase. Coverage is limited to repair or replacement of defective component or
replacement of complete product at Elkay's option. If a replacement unit is provided, the new warranty will expire after 1
year after shipment of the original defective unit.
INSTALLATION AND OPERATION – The foregoing Limited Warranty applies only when the product is installed and oper-
ated in accordance with the Elkay's written instructions included with each unit. It does not apply to products which on ex-
amination by Elkay, or its agent, are found to have been subjected to accident, modifications, abuse, misuse, misapplica-
tions, corrosive type atmospheres, or abnormal use. This Limited Warranty is void if the product has been used outdoors
and if anything other than drinking water was used.
OWNER'S OBLIGATIONS – The owner has the obligation to provide the Purchase Order and Serial Number, which is
located on the product. The owner also has the obligation to return the part or complete unit to the closest authorized ser-
vice center or to the factory repair department.
ELKAY'S OBLIGATIONS – Elkay's obligation under the Limited Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective
component or replacement of complete dispenser at Elkay's option.
CANCELLATION OF WARRANTY – Elkay, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to deny the warranty if (i) technical
intervention was realized by unauthorized personnel, (ii) any seals on the product were broken or serial numbers on the
product were modified, (ii) there was any alteration or falsification of the information provided in this warranty and/or the
'Installation / Care / Use Manual', (iii) the terms of the warranty period expired, (iv) the product was used outdoors, (v)
and/or anything other than drinking water was used for this product.
THE WARRANTY MAY NOT BE ALTERED, VARIED, OR EXTENDED, EXCEPT BY A WRITTEN INSTRUMENT EX-
ECUTED BY ELKAY. THE REMEDY OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRAN-
TY IS EXCLUSIVE. IN NO EVENT SHALL ELKAY BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES
TO ANY PERSON, WHETHER OR NOT OCCASIONED BY NEGLIGENCE OF ELKAY, INLCUDING WITHOUT LIMITA-
TION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF USE, COSTS OF SUBSTITUTION, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OTHER MONETARY LOSS.
ELKAY NEITHER ASSUMES, NOR AUTHORIZES ANY PERSON TO ASSUME OR AUTHORIZE, ON ELKAY'S BEHALF,
ANY OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OF THE PRODUCT OR ANY PARTS THEREOF,
OTHER THAN THOSE REFERRED TO IN THIS WARRANTY. Some states of the United States do not allow the exclu-
sion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply.
The Limited Warranty gives specific legal rights and in some states of the United States there may also be other rights,
which vary from state to state.
Any questions regarding this Limited Warranty or performance of Elkay's obligations under this Limited Warranty should
