• Connect the unit to an efficient power point, using the correct screws as supplied with the unit.
• In the unit with relay board the screws of the connectors must be screwed with torque equals to
0,5 Nm.
• In case of high temperature application, the cable or cablesutilized should be protected properly and
they should comply with the pertinent homologation to F400, F300 or F200.
General Overview
• Check that there are not any element that avoid the impellers turns free of friction.
• Check the power supply, the connexion box.
• Check that inside the fan will not appear any strange material that will affect the impeller.
First Start
• Check that the impeller runs properly.
• Check that the consumption –Intensity I(A)– of the unit will not exceed the maximum indicated in the
motor plate.
• Check that the vibrations of the unit.
• Check that all connections are done properly.
If any of these conditions is not correct, stop the fan and fix the problem. Any lack of observation of the
details may cause the withdrawal of the warranty supplied with the equipment.
Before following any type of maintenance operation, be certain that the
unit may not casually or accidentally be connected to the electrical mains
supply. Therfore It is necessary to shutdown the unit's power supplyad
prior to maintenance.
• It is the responsibility of the User to carry out all types of maintenance operations.
• Only personnel previously trained and qualified may carry out maintenance operations.
• Should the unit require disassembly, hand protection is required.
Yearly maintenance
• Check that all the electrical equipment, in particular the fixing of the electrical connections.
• Check the tightness of all nut, bolts, flanges and hydraulic connections that the vibrations of the machi-
ne may have loosened.
• For the cleaning, utilize a vacuum cleaner or wash with normal detergent and warm water, allow to dry
well. Not use chemical products.
• Verify the number of hours of working bearings. Follow the indications indicated in the motor's mainte-
nance manual enclosed the unit.
