Supplementary Safety Instructions
Observe the following safety instructions to protect your R&S ETC from
damage.
The RF INPUT test input of the R&S ETC is a test circuit of test category I. The max.
input voltage is +20 dBm / 80 V DC. It must be ensured that the transient overvoltages
that occur in the test circuit are not greater than the max. permissible input peak
voltages.
The R&S ETC must not be used in the test categories II, III and IV.
Test category I is intended for measurements on circuits that are not directly
connected with the mains (see IEC / UL / CSA / 61010-1 – 6.7.4).
