PRESSURE COOKER
18
Heating
1) When moving the pressure cooker, hold both the handles to avoid damage.
2) The pressure cooker must be put on a flat surface and specifically on a smaller hob
than the outer diameter of its bottom. When using a gas oven, make sure the flame
does not wrap up the oven.
3) Begin to cook over high heat to rapidly increase the temperature inside the pot, even
if the flame shouldn't be too strong. The increase of temperature during cooking leads
to steam release to the pressure regulator valve. Under normal condition (without the
temperature increase), the regulator valve should not vent. If it releases steam (check
the cooking times), lower the temperature provided by the hob for energy saving.
If the regulator valve stops releasing steam during cooking, please increase the heat
resource. If the control valve emits the steam too quickly, please reduce the heat
source.
Attention
1) Never leave the pressure cooker unattended on the kitchen plate when using.
2) During use, don't touch the high temperature surface directly.
3) When cooking soups and dense foods, make sure it is not too sticky.
4) In the sake of safety, please follow the rules above in case the liquids vaporized to
burn and block the safety valve..
Switch off the hob
At the end of the cooking phase, switch off the hob and the regulator valve will cease to
vent (according to the cooking times).
Cooling down
1) The condition of instant cooling down
In order to instantly reduce the temperature and pressure, turn the knob directly to the
steam release symbol on the lid, make the regulator valve release steam (picture 10) or
put the cooker under cold water for cooling it down (picture 11). Then you can turn the
knob anticlockwise to open the lid.

2) THE CONDITION OF NORMAL COOLING DOWN
After cooking, leave the cooker to cool down.
