 After the excess oil has drained, place the food on a paper towel lined baking sheet to soak up any
remaining oil.
 If you are frying more than one batch, ensure the oil re-heats to the required temperature before
adding the food.
 After use, turn the appliance off by turning the temperature control fully anti-clockwise to the off
position and unplug from the mains.
Cleaning & Maintenance
 Turn the temperature control fully anti-clockwise and disconnect the appliance from the supply.
 Allow the oil and the appliance to cool down to room temperature.
 Carefully pour the oil into a storage container.
 The appliance can be cleaned using a cloth and a mild detergent.
 Note: After cleaning the appliance must be thoroughly dried using a dry cloth.
 The filter is located under a cover in the lid. Push the lever on the lid and lift to open it.
 Remove the filter and clean in warm, soapy water. Ensure the filter is thoroughly dry before refitting.
Close the cover and ensure the latch engages.
 The lid is removable for easy cleaning; simply open fully and lift off its hinged position. Ensure it is
fully re-fitted before use.
