The material is separated into a container attached directly to the cyclone. The filter is cleaned using reverse pulse. The
separated and filtered material is collected into a container with a plastic sack insert, see consumables. The container can easily
be removed from the machine by releasing the fasteners, which makes it easy to take the material away.
CAUTION
The container is held in place by fasteners which means that a clamp must be placed on the machine's
grounding braid. This is ensured by aligning the opposite red arrow markings.
Emptying
The container underneath the cyclone should be emptied when about 2/3 full.
Be careful when releasing the fasteners – they can open with great force – especially when the material is heavy. Be aware that
emptying the container may pose a risk of explosion, i.e. that an explosive atmosphere may occur and that static charge may be
generated by the friction of the particles against the container. For appropriate measures, see CENELEC TR 50404.
When the container is to be emptied, the two fasteners must be carefully released, one at a time, to prevent dust from swirling up
unnecessarily. When the machine's container has been lowered, turn on the separator again so that any stuck particles are
sucked into the filter cyclone.
For DC 1800 H EX, release the fasteners and lift the upper part of the machine. The container can now be removed from the
machine.
Carefully remove the filled sack from the edge of the container and immediately seal it tightly.
You must clean the filters before replacing the plastic bag. It should be replaced when the dust level is about 5 cm below the
discharge flap.
Fit a new plastic sack and place the opening carefully back over the edge of the container. Make sure that no creases are formed
and that the sack is not damaged. Then carefully install the tray under the separator and fasten the two hooks, turn off the
machine and once more secure the tray on the machine, make sure that the fastening hooks are located properly and check for
leakage.
CAUTION
The strap of the fasteners must have good contact with the plate on the upper part. The black arrow markings
must be aligned so that they point at each other.
Filter cleaning:
The filters should be cleaned when the manometer is in the red field.
