INSTRUCTION MANUAL VOSS.FARMING EASYCUT
7.3

OILING BLADES

Oiling your machine is essential for a good result. It also prevents overheating and
significantly extends the life of the blades and the machine. Therefore, a thin film of oil
must be applied to the moving parts of the head.
CAUTION
Keep your fingers away from the sharp edges
of the blades to avoid injury.
To oil the blades during use, drip the oil onto the
shearing blades and into the opening every 10
minutes (fig. 2).
NOTICE
► Make sure that the shearing blades do not
run dry.
► Only use special clipper oil for oiling.
7.4

CHANGING BLADES

A blade set consists of an upper blade and a larger, lower blade, the grinding sides of
which always rest on each other.
CAUTION
Keep your fingers away from the sharp edges of the blades to avoid injury.
1. Switch off the clipper and disconnect it from the power supply.
2. To release the tension on the blades, turn the tensioning nut (2).
The blades are loosened.
3. Turn the clipper over and place the clipper on a
flat, stable surface.
4. Remove the knob on the tensioning nut (2).
You can now remove the lower blade together with the
bolt (fig. 3).
You can remove the upper blade.
5. Make sure that the new blades, especially the
grinding sides, are free of dirt.
6. Insert the upper blade into the guide points of the
oscillating head.
