12. In order for the warranty to be effective, the DECOWATT
radiant heater must be used as described in this
manual only, and with official DECOWATT accesso-
ries (bars, regulators).
13. Do not try to disassemble the device (void warranty).
14. This device can be used by children who are at least
older than 8 and by people having physical, sensorial
or mental reduced capacities or with no experience
or knowledge if they are closely monitored; or if they
have been given the instructions relative to the safe
use of the device and if the risks involved have been
apprehended. Children must not play with the device.
Do not let unsupervised children handle the cleaning
and the maintenance of the device.
15. Keep at distance children who are under the age of 3,
unless they are under a permanent surveillance. Children
between the age of 3 and 8 shall only turn the device
on and off, provided that the latter has been installed
or placed in an intended normal position. Children shall
be under surveillance or have been given the instruc-
tions relative to the safe use of the device and if the risks
involved have been apprehended. Children between
the age of 3 and 8 shall not plug, set, handle the cleaning
nor the maintenance of the device.
