6.1. Burning in a biofireplace.
CAUTION !!!
Do not fire the device if it is hot. Using bio-fuel other kind than indicated in the
manual is strictly prohibited.
Before the first start-up You should read all chapters included in the manual. While first
burning it is very important to check if the bio-container is tight, especially during the
work at high temperature. To start the fire :
Make sure that biofireplace is extinguished and chilled. Required minimum time be-
tween cooling and another bio-fuel refilling is 1 hour.
√ move the sliding element of bio-container away using controlling part.
√ refill the tank of a bio-container with an appropriate kind of bio-fuel (BIO-DECO
bio-fuel is recommended) not exceeding the maximum level of bio-fuel.
√ if there was a spill of bio-fuel You should clean the wet surface with a paper towel
immediately
√ Start the biofireplace using:
- long fireplace matches
- fireplace lighter
- using the element wchich controls sliding. Drown the tip of this element in fuel in t
he container and then kindle its wet part using a lighter or any different source
of fire (keep a safe distance from the biofireplace). The flame move into the bio-
container.
√ If after the ignition of bio-fuel the flame blows out, repeat actions in order to kindle
biofireplace.
Flame reaches its proper color and height after 15 minutes of burning. Its intensity can
be controlled with controlling element, through the regulation of the level of opening
of the sliding part. The flame height should be adjusted in the way the top part of
fireplace's casing in not exsposed to direct fire. While burning it is required to keep a
safe distance from a biofireplace which is not less than 0,5m. Bio-fuel consumption is
0,2l/h<0,5l/h with the maximum opening of biofireplace's cover. At once You can pour
50% of the total capacity of the bio-container.
