2.5 Remove all personal metal items from your body, such as
rings, bracelets, necklaces and watches. A battery can produce
a short circuit current high enough to weld a ring to metal,
causing a severe burn.
2.6 Never smoke or allow a spark or flame in the vicinity of the
battery or engine.

4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
4.1. Pre-Charging:
The BBH12-1200 Hybrid Booster must be pre-charged before it can be used to boost your
vehicle.
The 'Standard Mode' instructions will guide you on how to use your vehicle's weak battery
to pre-charge the ultracapacitors inside the BBH12-1200 Hybrid Booster. If your vehicle's
battery is completely flat, or does not allow you to pre-charge the ultracapacitors inside
the BBH12-1200 Hybrid Booster, refer to section 4.3 'Override' mode in this manual.
The BBH12-1200 Hybrid Booster can also be pre-charged onboard a vehicle with a
12 V battery with the DC cigarette-lighter cable provided or by using energy from the
lithium back-up battery pack, or by using a fully charged battery from another vehicle.
