FIRST USE OR LONG PERIOD OF NON-USE

Cleaning
Note: First, read the Important Safety Precautions.
• Pull out the water tank and remove the lid. Then fill the water tank up to the maximum
capacity mark (1). Place it in its initial position, covered with the lid (2).
• Connect the plug to the respective grounded outlet.
• Press the espresso button to switch the machine on (3). The machine enters the prehea-
ting stage.
When the LED stops blinking (approximately 15 seconds) the machine is ready to use.
• Place a container (with a capacity above 250ml) or one coffee cup under the rotary knob.
Without placing the capsule in the capsule-holder, press the espresso button to rinse the
machine, repeat this step until the water tank is empty.

EXTRACT COFFEE

• Pull out the water tank and remove the lid. Then, fill the water tank up to the maximum
capacity mark (1). Place it in its initial position, covered with the lid (2).
• Connect the plug to the respective grounded outlet.
• Press the espresso button to switch the machine on (3). The machine enters the pre
heating stage.
When the LED stops blinking (approximately 15 seconds) the machine is ready to use.
• Spin the rotary knob to the left, until reaching the open position . Pull the rotary knob out
in order to open the capsule-holder (4). Insert a Delta Q capsule in the capsule-holder (5).
Make sure that the capsule is inserted correctly. Push and spin the rotary knob to the right,
until reaching the closed position (6).
Make sure that the cue trace is aligned with the symbol .
• Place a coffee cup under the rotary knob.
• Press the espresso button to start the beverage extraction, the extraction stops
automatically (7).
• During the extraction, you can press the espresso button to stop extraction.
• Remove the cup. Spin the rotary knob to the left, until reaching the open position.
Then pull it out in order to open the capsule-holder, to free the capsule into the used
capsules deposit (maximum capacity of 5 capsules). Close the capsule-holder again (6).
