To insert the blade, be careful not to allow foreign
material to adhere to the blade gear and not damage
it.
First insert part of the blade 1 tooth into the box,
then rotate the blade 1 until the hole in the blade 1
is aligned with the hole in the aluminum gearbox.
Incorrect blade location will damage the machine.
Replace the blade screw, then replace washer 8
and wavy washer 9, finally tighten nut 11. Do not
overtighten.
7.2. LUBRICATION
The lubrication of the blade area is essential to
guarantee the life of the blade and the scissor motor.
Lubricate the gear and with a few drops of oil always
before starting work and every 10 minutes of work.
Never apply grease to the blades.
7.3. BLADE SHARPENING.
Sharpen the blade every 100 cuts at most to ensure
proper cutting edge. An edge of poor quality will imply
an additional effort for the scissors and the cut will not
be clean, which can cause diseases in the area of the
plant cut.
