Operate the deadman's handle
The deadman's handle is used to determine the movement of the plunger(s). In the neutral position no
pressure is built up and the oil flows back to the pump without pressure. If the deadman's handle is
released, it returns automatically to the neutral position and stops the movement of the plunger(s).

Hold the deadman's handle in this position to open the tool/blades. Pressure is built
up in the tool. Return oil from the tool flows back to the pump without pressure.

Operating the light switch
On the carrying handle there is a light switch for the integrated LED lights.
•
Press the light switch to turn the LED lights on and off.
•
The battery for LED lights should be replaced when the LED lights no longer turn on when the light
switch is pressed.
5.8
Attaching accessories
5.8.1
Connection systems for accessories
By default the ram jack has ram heads on both sides. These ram heads can be removed and replaced
by accessories.
To connect these accessories a cam and steel ball connection system is used. The pulling shoes,
however, have a different connection system. They can only be attached and locked with a ring.
5.8.2
Cam and steel ball connection system
Refer to Fig. 7.
The steel ball (C) in the groove (E) and the cam (A) serve to hold the accessory in place.
To attach
•
Position the cam (A) of the accessory (F) in front of the recess (D).
•
Push the accessory firmly on to the ram jack (B) until the steel ball (C) clicks in the groove (E).
•
Turn the accessory 180° with respect to the ram jack so that the recess provides extra locking.
To remove
•
Remove the accessory (F) from the ram jack (B) by turning it around while pulling it at the same
time. When the cam comes to the recess (D) the accessory is released.
5.8.3
Pulling shoes connection system
Refer to Fig. 8.
WARNING
The pulling accessories are intended solely for the horizontal movement of loads.
Hoisting is not permitted with these pulling accessories.
To attach
•
Remove the ram head or other accessory from the ram jack.
•
Slide the ring (A) to the front of the pulling shoe (C).
