Ground wire:
•
Grounding is necessary in any voltage
(110 to 240V), and for any electric
electronic appliance.
The grounding wire shall not be
connected to the neutral conductor of
the power system, nor to cable tubing,
gas or water pipes, taps or faucets.
When grounding, follow the grounding
standards in force and call an authorized
electrician.
The incorrect installation of the ground
wire might result in accidents such as
fire, electrical shock or other personal
injuries.
•
Check if the voltage
supplied is the same as
that on the tag attached
near the plug.
The refrigerator shall
be connected to a good wall outlet.
Important:
•
Never connect your refrigerator to
double or triple extension cords
together with another appliance in
the same wall outlet.
Do not use an extension cord.
That may overload power supply,
impairing the
operation of your
refrigerator, and
resulting in
fire accidents.
Use an exclusive
wall outlet only.
•
If you live in an area where there are
voltage oscillations greater than 10%
of the rated voltage, do not plug
your refrigerator directly into the wall
socket.
•
Install an automatic voltage stabilizer
with a power output of at least
1000W, between the refrigerator
and the wall socket.
•
Be sure that the voltage stabilizer can
withstand the oscillations in your
area.
•
Do not use electric appliances inside
the food storage compartments
unless they are of the type
recommended by the manufacturer.
•
Your refrigerator is provided with a
ground wire for your safety.
Do not eliminate it by cutting it from
the outlet or by using adapters.
Your residence electrical connection
must be provided with a ground
wire. If there is no grounding, check
with a specialist for proper
installation.
•
If the power supply cord is damaged,
it must be replaced.
You can use a special set indicated
by the manufacturer or by the
authorized service shop.
•
Once your refrigerator is connected,
prevent the power supply cord from
getting in touch with hot parts such
as the compressor or other elements
that generate high temperatures.
Power supply of your residence:
