Controller Connector
Inline Release
To Console
To Nitro Racing Wheel™
The controller cord has an inline release. This is a safety feature
designed to reduce the chance of the Xbox 360™ falling when the
cord is pulled. If the Xbox 360™ console falls and hits someone it could
cause serious injury. To reduce the risk of such injuries or damage to
the Xbox 360™, it is important to use the controller and the inline
release properly.
Use the Xbox 360™ controller connector, not the inline release, to rou-
tinely connect or disconnect the controller. If an inline release discon-
nects, simply reconnect it by aligning the grooved indentations and
pressing the two parts completely together. The controller will not work
unless the inline release is connected properly.
WARNING! Never tape, glue, or otherwise prevent an inline release
from pulling apart. The inline release reduces, but does not eliminate,
the risk of the Xbox 360™ console being pulled off its surface.
Installation Connections
1) Make sure the Xbox 360™ is Off.
2) Connect the Racing pedal set to the Nitro Racing Wheel Base Unit
using the pedal connector on the back of the unit.
Note: If the pedals are not connected to the wheel base the Gas /
Accelerator and brake functions can be controlled using the Left and
Right paddles on the Wheel Base Unit.
3) Plug the Nitro Racing wheel™ connector into any of the available
controller ports of the Xbox 360™. The Xbox 360™ Controller ports can
be found under the cover on the front right side of the console.
4) To disconnect, pull on the controller connector, not on the cable
Do not touch the controller cord terminals or the controller port or allow
metal parts to touch them. Doing so may damage the controller or the
Xbox 360™.
