Re-start:
To re-start the heater, switch the unit off and on again using the STANDBY button (2). If the cause of the fault
goes away immediately after the re-start process, the heater will resume normal operation. If this is not the
case, all the LEDs will continue to flash. Contact the Technical Support Service.
Diagnostics:
To activate the diagnostics function, press the STANDBY button (2) continuously for 5 seconds.
The type of malfunction will be indicated by the 5 LEDs (4) as follows:
40 ℃ LED flashing - RTC clock fault
50 ℃ LED flashing - Operating without water
60 ℃ LED flashing - Temperature sensors NTC 1 / NTC 2 broken
70 ℃ + 80 ℃ LEDs flashing - Fault in sensor differential
80 ℃ LED flashing - Water overheating
60 ℃ LED + 70 ℃ LED + 80 ℃ LED flashing - Water overheating detected by an individual sensor.
To exit diagnostics function, press the STANDBY button (2) or wait for 5 seconds.

5. MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP RULES
Magnesium anode
It is essential that the unit be inspected annually by the Technical Support Service (TSS) to eliminate lime scale
deposited on the heating element and check the condition of the magnesium anode (See point 6, page 40). If
the water in your area is very hard or corrosive you must ask for more frequent inspections.
If the magnesium anode is degraded, it must be replaced by the Technical Support Service.
Draining the unit
If installed in a location where freezing occurs, the unit must be drained if it is not going to used.
When this is necessary, drain the heater as follows:
- Unplug the heater from the mains electricity supply;
- Turn off the valve from the water mains;
- Open the hot water tap (basin, sink or bath);
- Open the drainage valve.
Periodic maintenance
After routine or special maintenance, we recommend you fill the tank with water and drain it off completely to
eliminate any residual impurities.
