Safety
In this chapter you receive important safety information regarding
the handling of the appliance.
This appliance complies with the statutory safety regulations. Incorrect
usage can, however, lead to personal and property damage.
Basic Safety Instructions
For safe handling of the appliance observe the following safety
information:

Before use check the appliance for visible external damage.
Do not take into operation an appliance that is damaged or has
been dropped.
■
Individuals who, due to their physical, intellectual or motor
abilities, are incapable of operating the appliance safely may
only use the appliance under supervision or direction from a
responsible person.
■
Only permit children to use the appliance under supervision.
■
Repairs should be carried out ONLY by authorized specialist
companies or by the Customer Service Department. Incorrect
repairs could result in signifi cant risks for the user. In addition,
warranty claims would become void.
■
A repair to the appliance during the warranty period may only
be carried out by a repair and servicing fi rm authorised by the
manufacturer, if it is not, additional warranty claims for subse-
quent damages cannot be accepted.
